DCE/DTE Cables

It never fails, you can never find a cable when you need one. For setting serial connections like for frame relay having the right DCE/DTE cable is a necessity!

DTE/DCE cables are used to connect two routers via their serial cables. If you are planning on using a frame relay switch in your lab, you’ll need several of these. If your studying for your CCNA, CCNP or CCIE lab, you will need lots of practice by directly connecting two routers and bringing the connection up (and making sure it stays up!).

We’ve partnered with ebay to help you find DCE/DTE serial cables for your Cisco router and home network that are perfect for helping you setup a frame relay switch.
