Has anyone seen stencils for Synology, QNAP, and Data Robotics?
What are the copyright laws regarding these stencils?? Can these be used by anyone in the public domain with no risk of copyright lawsuits??
I’m assumiing you are referring to U.S. copyright law?
Each stencil is copyrighted by the respective company’s that own them. The software application Visio is copyrighted by Microsoft. The use of these stencils are provided as a courtesy of each equipment vendor to help engineers document the use of each product the stencil represents.
These stencils are stored here and given away freely to help network engineers do their job and create the needed diagrams when using Visio. This site is not compensated by any of these company’s and each of the stencils are the property of each respected company. They are not public domain property.
I hope this answers your question
Hi,
I’m chasing something so simple, but so incredibly elusive it’s not funny….
I’m after a visio stencil that has a USB over Ethernet hub. Any idea where I can find one?! I’ve even tried drawning one up myself, but I’m just not that good. I’ve found hubs a plenty, but none that are USB or have anything to do with USB on them.
Basically, I have a few USB over Ethernet devices on my network I have to do some diagrams for, but I don’t have the usb over ethernet device to put in my visio diagram! Help?! Any is better than none, but the one I’m specifically after is a 5port USBoE from Digi. But as I said, anything 3D with even just a USB icon on top of it will do?!
Not sure what the malfunction is with routerfreak.com, but I’ve created an account here and have been unable to find any stencil files at all. Every time I click the links that should take me to stencils, it wants me to register again, but alas, I’m already registered and signed into the site.
Looking for Ironport stencils, seems as Cisco does not have these anywhere on their website.
Anyone have stencil files for Ironports?
Thanks in advance!
Larry
I’m having precisely the same problem.

John and Larry,
What Browser are you using?
Are you able to login?
Are you able to get to the member area?
Can You get to the download page where all of the stencils are located?
There is a problem with internet explorer and .zip files. For some reason we have trouble with them downloading corrupted. All other browsers work fine.
Any help with this will help us fix the problem..
Thanks
Looking for a stencil to represent General Dynamics Taclane encrypter/decrypter. I’m tired of using a key in my diagrams to represent them.
Can’t seem to find any Visio stencils to download… LAME!
You have to login to the members area to be able to download visio files
i have already logged in but i can’t download stencils.
Please help me .
Kareem,
When you login, you are directed to the Members area of the website. Right in the middle of the page is a link that says “Free Visio Downloads”. Click on that link to take you to the download page. From here you will be able to search for the file that you want, click on one of the most popular stencils, or browse through Visio Stencils, Tools, and other Fun Stuff available to members..
Please be sure to sure Google Chrome or Firefox. There is a problem with Internet Explorer.
Thanks
Hi! I’m looking for ZyXel stencils, do anyone have an idea where i can find some?

Hi! Where can I find Cisco 3925 stencil?
I can only see the Cisco generic icons.
Thanks in Advance.
Hi folks,
Does anyone have access to some good old-fashioned legacy telecom equipment stencils? Say, for a Lucent 5ESS CO (Central Office) switch?
I have some rather tired looking generic icons, and wouldn’t mind showing something other than a generic box with red fill, for example.
Any direction would be appreciated!
Thanks
Does anyone know where to find stencils for PaloAlto Firewalls?
Anybody with a collection of IBM Proventia stencils ?
Thanks
/T
I’m looking for the same thing Brian.
There are Palo Alto stencils within the secured PA support site.
If you have a PA support login just search the knowledgepoint for visio stencil and you will see the doc.
If anyone gets a hold of these.. send them our way and we’ll post them to the site!
Just tell me where to send them
Sent you an email – Thanks!
Thanks RIP! Palo Alto Stencils are now posted in the download area!
