Thanks for posting these. It’s nice to find someone who isn’t out to make a buck like some companies.

  8. Hallvor says:

This is probably and old post, but I try anyway. I’m looking for some preferably generic shapes for KVM switches, KVM extenders and VGA extenders for use in network diagrams (not rack).

    • Joe says:

      Thanks Hallvor,
I don’t believe I have any generic stencils for just kvm. If I find some I will update the Visio post with them. For now, what I usually do for KVM equipment is just use a generic Cyclades stencil or a generic Cisco stencil. I hope this helps. Thanks for the comment!

  22. Pierre says:

Humm why is there a very long list of Cisco stuff but nothing for the Catalisyst 2948G …

    • Joe says:

The visio icons I have up on the site are the generic icon, (hocky puck). The product specific icons can freely downloadable from the Cisco website. Unfortunately Cisco has thousands of product icons in multiple visio stencils. I once had them all zippe up on the site but the file was like 50meg. Its was hug. I would encourage you to visit Cisco website to download exactly what your looking for. You can find them here: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/prod_visio_icon_list.html

  23. Pierre says:

    Thanks for the reply Joe!
unfortunately I have been on Cisco’s URL and no 2948G stencil
    :~(

  24. Bryan says:

You should open the spreadsheet with the index http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/assets/visio/product_visio_icon0900aecd800940d9.xls

search for the model number your interested in (in your case the 2948) and it should show you which collection it’s in.

For the 2948G it’s in the Switches Catalyst 2900 http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/assets/visio/product_visio_icon0900aecd800f5997.zip

  25. Barry Peters says:

I clicked, subscribed, etc., but was never able to download any of the stencils. The mfr links just kept bringing me back to the sign-up page. What’s up with the broken links?

    • Joe says:

When you subscribe you will be taken to a download page where you can download every visio file, search for the files you want, etc.

Also, you will be sent an email that will include your link to download the file you need.

      I hope this helps!
